What You Will Be Doing:

We are seeking a proactive and technically minded Sourcing Lead to join our growing team. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, primarily our nuclear research and operations teams to ensure suppliers meet our quality, price and delivery requirements. This position offers the opportunity to lead key initiatives that strengthen our supply chain and vendor partnerships. This is an onsite role that reports directly to the Manager of Sourcing and Procurement at our Everett, WA office.

You Will:

  • Coordinate with Helion research teams to procure equipment, machinery, tools and services
  • Manage and develop vendor base of indirect goods and services categories. Improve quality of vendor base through consolidation, long-term agreements and favorable payment terms
  • Lead initiatives and projects cross-functionally. Improve processes and workstream efficiency within the indirect procurement category
  • Travel to vendor facilities
  • Contract negotiation in coordination with Legal team
  • Create purchase orders, resolve invoice and receiving snags. Maintain accurate ERP vendor and open order data.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or 6+ years of experience in supply chain function
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement negotiating pricing, contracts and sales terms and conditions in coordination with legal team
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and evolve procurement methodology
  • Understanding of technical requirements in coordination with cross-functional teams
  • Experience working for a high-growth technology or research startup
  • Operate independently with strong business acumen and problem-solving skills

Final compensation is determined through a holistic evaluation of your experience, qualifications, and our commitment to internal equity - ensuring fairness and transparency across our teams. We are committed to fostering a fair and equitable environment in every aspect of our operations, including compensation.

This is an exempt salaried role.

Annual Base Pay
$113,000$159,000 USD
