Come Drive Innovation with Us.  We are currently looking for a Sr. Solution Architect Lead, in IS Sales Planning & Operations to join our team in Franklin, TN. In this role, you will provide cross-functional solution architecture for technology capabilities across the Sales Planning & Operations business domain.  You’ll play a key role in shaping technology strategy, driving solution design, and partnering with both business and IT teams to deliver scalable, modern solutions across areas like Vehicle Operations, Distribution & Sales, Fleet, Incentives, and Pricing systems.

A Day in the Life:   

  • Provide cross-functional solution architecture across Sales Planning & Operations capabilities

  • Coordinate and oversee solution architecture efforts across domains including Vehicle Operations, Distribution & Sales, Fleet, Incentives, and Pricing systems

  • Drive technology solution proposals and evaluate alternatives for business initiatives, transformation efforts, and roadmap priorities

  • Prepare for and support Architecture Review Board approvals for new initiatives and system enhancements

  • Research emerging technologies and trends (including AI) and evaluate their applicability

  • Partner with development teams to refine architecture and remove technical roadblocks throughout the development lifecycle

  • Advise leadership on technology strategy, roadmap planning, system simplification, and modernization efforts

  • Lead or support proof-of-concepts and pilot initiatives for new technology capabilities

  • Contribute to initiative sizing and effort estimation by evaluating technical complexity, risks, and solution options

  • Maintain and evolve the current technology landscape and roadmap in collaboration with other architects

  • Present solution designs and recommendations to business stakeholders and IS leadership

  • Perform other duties as needed

Who We’re Looking for:

Required:

  • 10+ years of IS/IT experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to independently research and learn new technologies

  • Strong expertise in at least one or more of the following areas: cloud (AWS), application development (Java/J2EE), system integration, or data platforms

  • Ability to perform work onsite at Franklin, TN.  

Desired:

  • Development background or hands-on engineering experience

  • Experience building or contributing to technology roadmaps

  • Experience working with Architecture Review Boards

  • Familiarity with mainframe systems

  • Experience with ERP platforms (e.g., SAP)

  • Knowledge of data platforms and AI/advanced analytics capabilities

  • Experience leading development teams or coordinating across multiple architects

  • AWS certifications
