Job description
LH-Recruitment are working with this international Company. Our client are one of the only companies with the expertise and experience to specialise in total biogas and liquid storage engineering solutions. Pioneers for a clean environment Biogas storage systems are an active contribution to the generation of renewable energies.

We are looking to recruit Design Engineers for are client, will be responsible for preparing 2D and 3D drawings, working with the Engineering Design Team and developing new systems and solutions. 
Our client have won many new contracts across the UK and Europe and the growth plans for the next 5 years are amazing. 

The ideal candidate will have experience in Biogas or Water Treatment and be an experienced CAD Technician / Design Draughtsman, to provide engineering design support on several new and existing Anaerobic Digestion plants throughout the UK.

To be considered the individual will need a good working knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD/Draught sight and ideally have a relevant Engineering qualification (apprenticeship, NVQ, HNC, etc.).

To be considered, you must have experience working within a heavy process environment (biogas and Water Treatment preferred) as a CAD Technician or Design Draughtsman.
Tasks Including
  • 2D/3D modelling of water, wastewater and biogas tanks (AutoCAD/SolidWorks)
  • Drawing & modelling components
  • Interpreting Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
  • Updated and amending outdated drawings
  • Attending & providing input at design reviews & meetings
  • Assisting the Engineering Design Team
  • Visits to operational or new build sites
