Automation Test Engineer (Senior Level)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium or Cypress frameworks.
• Collaborate with software development and QA teams to understand requirements and define effective testing strategies.
• Execute automated test suites to validate functionality, detect defects, and ensure high-quality releases.
• Enhance and optimize automation frameworks to improve coverage, efficiency, and reliability.
• Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to stakeholders regarding product quality.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards and best practices.
• Stay updated with emerging trends in automation and testing technologies, integrating relevant tools and techniques.
• Promote continuous improvement within the SDLC by advocating automation and efficient testing practices.
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger.
• Work with containerization tools such as Docker.
• Actively contribute within Agile/Scrum teams for iterative development and testing.

Required Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in software testing with strong expertise in Selenium and Cypress.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript or Python.
• Hands-on experience with web technologies: HTML and CSS.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Strong understanding of testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
