A. Responsibilities (essential to the position)

  1. Responsible for planning and integrating software components into our existing Automotive infotainment systems.
  1. Design and optimization of software development processes.
  1. Work with internal teams in creating and aligning the plans.
  1. Develop a concept for software update front- and backend.
  1. Responsible for platform bring-up, troubleshooting issues.
  1. Responsible for verifying software component deliveries from suppliers, such as interface matches, compatibilities, etc.

B.  Requirements:

1. Industry background:

·    Background in build automation system such as Jenkins

·    Experience with embedded systems

·    Strong record of innovation demonstrated through patents, papers or products

·    Proven ability to articulate and advocate a vision for technology direction with customers and internal development teams

2. Knowledge and skills: 

· Experience with software architecture and development paradigms

· Experience developing product in UNIX environment

· Experience with source control such as Perforce

· Experience with software project management, familiar with agile methodology

· Desired experience: Embedded systems and/or Automotive, Unity, Unity 3D Engine

3. Education / Training:

 ·    Bachelor in Automotive/Embedded Software/Systems Engineering/Computer Science with 5+ years of work experience

·    Strong presentation skills and excellent interpersonal skills; fun, outgoing and easy to work with

·    Self-starter able to operate with minimal supervision to achieve objectives
