[What the role is]

The role supports industry and applied R&D projects through design, development, and delivery, while supervising students in their final year projects

[What you will be working on]

• Undertake industry and R&D project design and development.
• Work with project manager/lead to fulfil the required project deliverables.
• Supervise students in their final year projects.
• Maintain a strong interest in software development and applied research.
• High-performing candidates may be considered for potential future conversion to a Lecturer role based on suitability and prevailing institutional requirements.

[What we are looking for]

• Relevant qualification in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology or related disciplines.
• At least 1 year of relevant working experience in software and system development.
• Ability to use AI-assisted tools to enhance coding efficiency and quality.
• Practical knowledge of Cloud Computing for project deployment.
• Experience in Agile Software Development Methodology.
• Strong soft skills and a demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies.
