Software Engineer - MERN

Devsinc is looking for a passionate and talented Software Engineer - MERN to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js). You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to build scalable, user-centric solutions that deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack web applications using the MERN stack.
• Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces using React.js.
• Develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
• Design and optimize MongoDB databases for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services where required.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in MERN stack development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
• Experience working with AWS services is a plus.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party API integrations.
• Working knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
• Eligibility to work in Pakistan.
• Experience with TypeScript is a plus.
• Knowledge of Docker or containerization is a plus.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
