Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
• Lead or contribute to service architecture design, particularly in microservices and event-driven systems
• Optimize data queries and system performance for relational and NoSQL databases
• Build and manage CI/CD workflows using Docker and Git
• Integrate AI-related features (e.g., model inference APIs, vector databases, NLP pipelines) into backend systems
• Participate in code reviews and continuously improve code quality and maintainability
• Collaborate with frontend developers and product managers to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Maintain and troubleshoot production systems and participate in on-call support when needed

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Python for backend development (FastAPI)
• Solid understanding of Git-based development workflows
• Experience with Docker for environment setup, packaging, and deployment
• Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Understanding of RESTful API design, authentication (OAuth2/JWT), caching, and performance best practices
• Knowledge or experience with AI/ML systems (e.g., integrating ML APIs, handling inference pipelines)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Go or Java for backend development (Python remains the top priority)
• Basic frontend knowledge (JavaScript/TypeScript with Vue or React)
• Familiarity with distributed systems tools (e.g., Kafka, Redis, RabbitMQ)
• Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Hands-on experience deploying ML models as APIs or integrating LLMs
