Join Our Team as a Software Engineer – Shape the Future of Traffic Simulation!

We’re looking for a passionate Software Engineer to help us enhance VI-WorldSim, our cutting-edge traffic management simulation platform. In this role, you’ll work on innovative solutions that drive realistic agent behavior and improve mobility systems worldwide.

The right candidate will live near Udine or Torino and have the ability to work from home 50% and come into the office 50% of the time.

The right candidate will also be a citizen of Italy as we are unable to process candidates who are on a visa for this opportunity.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the evolution of our agent simulation module within VI-WorldSim.

  • Optimize and maintain existing code for performance and scalability.

  • Collaborate with a talented engineering team to introduce new features.

  • Develop and maintain interfaces aligned with ASAM standards (OpenScenario, OpenDrive).

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong understanding of agent simulation techniques.

  • Familiarity with ASAM standards (OpenScenario / OpenDrive).

  • Solid foundation in vehicle dynamics and control system design.

  • Proficiency in C/C++ and Python.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience with Matlab/Simulink.

  • Knowledge of Unreal Engine (especially Chaos framework).

  • Familiarity with SUMO or similar simulation frameworks.
