Summary of Job Description:

Aids in the sustainment maintenance and enhancement of the Air Battle Management System (BCS-T). Works to resolve system problem reports using available resources. Assists in system administration and system security. Assists in the development and installation of other temporary or permanent fixes to assigned systems as required. Installs and configures virtual hosts/audio distribution for simulation and live operations. Performs general troubleshooting of technology issues and recommends resolutions to problems. Travel may be required occasionally.

Require Skills:

Bachelor degree plus 8 years of experience OR Master’s degree plus 6 years’ experience

Secret Security Clearance

Demonstrated proficiency with Linux operating systems

Demonstrated proficiency with C++ programming languages

Preferred Skills:

Security+ certification

Familiarity with Bash shell scripting

Red Hat Certified Engineer

Familiarity with NISPOM
