Software Developer / SharePoint Applications

Overview

VETS, Inc., is looking to add an experienced Software Developer / SharePoint applications developer to our growing team. This is a permanent, full time opportunity with full benefits.  The work will be performed on-site in Alexandria, VA.  This position is metro accessible.

 

Responsibilities

The Successful candidate will perform the below:

 

Responsibilities:

• Provides high-level expertise in developing complex SharePoint 2016 applications, SharePoint Online applications, as well as other platforms employed by NSF.
• Defines functional requirements based on business needs.
• Produces and maintains detailed technical documentation.
• Provides user support on technical issues.

Qualifications

The successfull candidate:

 

Must meet the minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or other relevant discipline.
• 6-10 years of current experience in the field or in a related area.
• Minimum 6 years of SharePoint development experience.
• Minimum of 3 years working in an agile software development environment.
• Demonstrated experience transitioning an agency or customer from SharePoint to Microsoft 365 or another software platform.
