Our goal is to lead the industry in innovation while bringing you premium quality products at an affordable price. Our creative, energetic and innovative team has the experience of working together with different customers, from automation enthusiasts, hobbyists to large scale partners. We are constantly developing our skills and knowledge of the industry while we also make sure to have a bit of fun in life!

Job Responsibilities

We currently have an opening for the role of Software Developer (Connectivity Solutions for Linear Actuators). This role focuses on developing desktop, mobile, and connectivity software that integrates our linear actuators and control systems with a wide range of third-party devices, automation platforms, and industrial systems. Rather than standalone applications, the primary objective is to create software connectors, communication interfaces, and integration tools that expand compatibility across customer environments.

You will develop applications, libraries, APIs, and communication tools that support protocols such as Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Matter, UART, CANBUS, and other industry standard interfaces. These solutions will enable configuration, diagnostics, parameterization, monitoring, and seamless integration with customer equipment.

You will work closely with the Senior Firmware Engineer and R&D Manager to deliver reliable software that expands the capabilities and interoperability of our actuator and control system product portfolio.

What You’ll Do

Expand the functionality of our Flutter based mobile app

Develop and maintain Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication

Serial communication protocol integration based on existing documentation

Working with byte arrays, checksums, packet framing, parsing MCU responses

Working directly with embedded systems to test and debug communication

Develop new functionality and features for our Python desktop application

Expand the Python desktop app user interface (PyQT5)

Plan development milestones together with the R&D team

Required Skills and Experiences

Develop desktop and mobile software that integrates our linear actuators and control systems with customer equipment and third-party platforms.

Design, develop, and maintain communication libraries, APIs, and software connectors for a variety of protocols.

Develop and maintain communication over Matter, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), UART, CANBUS, Matter, and other wired and wireless protocols.

Implement serial communication based on documented protocols, including packet framing, byte arrays, checksums, and message parsing.

Work directly with embedded systems to test, validate, and troubleshoot communication between software and hardware.

Develop and enhance desktop applications and engineering tools using Python and PyQt.

Develop and maintain mobile applications using Flutter and Dart where appropriate.

Nice To Have

Experience with actuators, motor controllers, or embedded control systems

State management in Flutter, preferably Riverpod

Experience with CANBUS, CANopen, J1939, Modbus, Matter, MQTT, or other industrial and IoT communication protocols.

Experience developing REST APIs, SDKs, or software libraries.

Experience integrating with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, or industrial automation platforms.

Experience with the following Flutter packages:

    • flutter_blue_plus
    • mobile_scanner
    • flutter_riverpod

Experience with the following Python packages:

    • pyqt5
    • pyserial
    • cx_Freeze
