Job Overview

As a software backend engineer at IXT Client team, you will be a key technical resource for our partners and clients to help drive the digital transformation of their businesses. This role will assist global business development. You will be working with our partners and clients to help frontend web design development, and backend development of building, deploying, operating, supporting, and optimizing solutions in cloud or on-premises environment. 

 

Responsibilities

• Propose solutions based on the core IXT architecture to meet the needs of partners or clients, and complete system design and implementation. 
• Communicate and collaborate across departments. 
• Coordinate and define technical requirements and specifications. 
• Write technical documentation. 
• Participate in testing (e.g., unit, system integration) to ensure code quality. 
• Support system integration, data synchronization, and data migration tasks. 
• Design cloud solutions and collaborate with the SRE team to deploy and optimize systems. 
• Provide support to partners or clients, troubleshoot and resolve issues. 
• Write code and code reviews.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in system development. 
• Willingness and ability to quickly learn new technologies. 
• Strong communication and English language skills. 
• Proficiency in at least one backend technology, such as Python, Java, NodeJS, or GO. 
• Experience with databases, including RDBMS and NoSQL. 
• Ability to independently develop and solve problems. 
• Proficiency in designing distributed systems and multiple-thread designs. 
• Experience in writing unit tests. 
• Basic knowledge of information security and networking. 
• Experience with Git flow. 

 

Nice to have 

• Prior experience in the finance/insurance industry is preferred. 
• Knowledge and experience with Scrum. 
• Experience using sqlalchemy, Flask, FastAPI, Postgresql, Redis, Gitlab, Azure, MQ, ELK, Ansible, k8s, and Terraform. 
• Knowledge of Docker and DevOps. 
• Familiarity with RESTful API, SOLID design principles, and Design Patterns. 

 

Interview Process

• Phone interview: 0.5-1 hour
• Selection Test: 2 hours
• 1st Interview: 2.5 hours, online coding test & meet with hiring managers
• 2nd Interview: 1 hour, meet with Taiwan Director
