Software Architect (Ruby on Rails)

Architectural Design:

1. Lead the design and development of high-performance software systems, focusing on scalability, reliability, and security.

2. Define and implement architectural blueprints and best practices for our applications and services.

Database Management:

1. Design, implement, and optimize database systems using PostgreSQL (PSQL).

2. Ensure data integrity, security, and performance across our database environments.

Cloud Services:

1. Leverage AWS services (such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) to build scalable and reliable cloud-based solutions.

2. Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency and performance.

Web Development:

1. Develop and maintain applications using Ruby on Rails.

2. Implement and manage API infrastructures, ensuring seamless integration and communication between services.

Microservices Architecture:

1. Design, develop, and maintain microservices, promoting a modular and decoupled system architecture.

2. Ensure services are robust, maintainable, and scalable.

Additional Skills (Plus):

1. Knowledge of DNS systems and domain management is a plus, enhancing our ability to deliver comprehensive solutions

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

2. 5+ years of experience in software architecture, with a strong focus on database systems, cloud services, and web frameworks.

3. Expertise in PostgreSQL (PSQL) and AWS services.

4. Proficiency in Ruby on Rails and experience in building and managing APIs and microservices.

5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
