Social Worker – Pathways Team 

Salary up to £33k up to £42k DOE PLUS market supplement paid monthly.

An exciting new opportunity has come up to join my client based in the North East area. They are looking for an experienced social worker to join their Pathways team. This team works work with young people who are cared for or who have cared experienced moving into independence. Ages 16 – 25, supporting to navigate the transition into adulthood and independence.

This is an exciting time to join this local authority as they are making a big shift to open up more permanent opportunities and with this comes career progression! They are looking for people who are keen for a new challenge and want to take the next step up to grow together!

About you:

As a social worker you will need to have significant experience working within children and family services. Ideally you will have:

  • Experience of working within pathways teams
  • Proven track record of statutory social work experience
  • Sound and robust legal framework knowledge
  • Can manage your own caseload and have good communication skills
  • SWE registered.
  • Full UK drivers license
  • Right to work in the UK
