Essential Functions:
- Utilize diverse teaching methods, clear learning targets and relevant materials to address individual student needs and ensure mastery of academic standards
- Regularly monitor academic progress and social development, providing consistent feedback to parents through reports and conferences
- Maintain an organized, structured classroom with strong behavior management, ensuring student safety and the protection of district property
- Consistent and regular attendance by arriving/leaving at contractual times, attending all required meetings and adhering to professional and legal policies
- Establish cooperative relationships with staff, parents, and community members, while coordinating with special programs (Special Education, EL Support, etc) to support diverse learner needs
