Social Media Trainee

Summary

We are looking for a Social Media Trainee to support SMART’s presence across social media platforms.

You will help plan and publish content, engage with followers, track performance, and support digital campaigns. This role suits someone who understands social media platforms and wants practical experience in digital marketing and community management.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage the monthly social media content calendar.
• Schedule and publish posts across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and TikTok.
• Write captions and adapt content for each platform.
• Coordinate with content creators and designers to prepare campaign assets.
• Monitor comments, messages, mentions, and reviews.
• Respond to followers based on the company’s communication guidelines.
• Support social media coverage for events, campaigns, and company announcements.
• Track trends, competitor activities, and platform updates.
• Support paid campaigns through audience research and performance tracking.
• Prepare reports covering reach, engagement, follower growth, clicks, leads, and conversions.
• Recommend improvements based on content performance.
• Maintain the company’s brand voice and communication standards.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, design, communications, and other internal teams. 
• Maintain organized records of content, approvals, campaign assets, and performance reports.
• Demonstrate commitment to the company’s culture, values, and professional standards, and reflect them consistently in all internal and external communications.

Requirements

• Student or recent graduate in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, Media, or a related field.
• Understanding of LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and TikTok.
• Knowledge of content calendars, community management, and social media metrics.
• Ability to write clear captions in Arabic and English.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to organize tasks and meet publishing deadlines.
• Photography or videography skills.
• Basic knowledge of Meta Business Suite or social media scheduling tools.
• Interest in digital marketing, technology, and online communities.
• Ability to review data and identify content performance patterns.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous internship, university activity, or personal project in social media.
• Experience creating Reels, TikTok videos, or event coverage.
• Basic knowledge of paid social media advertising.
• Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager and Google Analytics.
• Photography or mobile videography skills.
• A portfolio or samples of social media work.
