Department Overview

In a group-wide marketing organization, you will support the effective use of social media, DOOH, and other digital media across more than 70 services and develop and execute strategies to increase engagement with the brand and contribute to the business.

We are looking for someone who can find issues related to social media marketing for the entire Rakuten Group, implement and verify the effectiveness of effective measures for improvement, and develop cross-organizational functions.

The candidate will also be responsible for the development and operation of management systems to ensure that social media tools are operated appropriately and safely in each service.

Position Details

- Plan and execute communication strategies utilizing social media, DOOH, and other digital media to enhance the value of the group brand.

- Share best practices and hold study sessions with the aim of improving the engagement rate of social media operations in each business

- In collaboration with media companies, propose, execute, and horizontally develop marketing activities utilizing social media into business

- Set and promote achievement of KPI common to the group

- Establish account management, whitelisting, and handling of false accounts.

- Revise, manage, and disseminate guidelines and e-learning that stipulate prohibited items and governance structure.

 

Mandatory Qualifications:

- Marketing experience at an operating company or agency or experience in social media

 

Desired Qualifications:

- Practical experience in cross-channel marketing (both online and offline), including not only social media marketing but also DOOH and digital signage*

* Engage account management, risk management, social listening, influencer marketing, campaigns, etc.

- Experience in visualizing (quantifying) goals and examining and implementing PDCA cycles toward achievement

- Experience in negotiating and coordinating with various stakeholders, both internal and external

 

Additional information on English Qualification

TOEIC score 800 or equivalent skill
