SOA Automation Engineer

Our client Innobox, Hyderabad is looking for SQA Automation.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to translate SW requirements into test cases

• Must be able to assess and document potential use cases from specification and design test cases accordingly

• Perform functional/performance/regression testing duties

• Report, track, replicate, analyze, debug defects assigned while working with developers, chip set/sw stack providers, as well as other team members

• Automate current and future test cases using proven automation framework

Pre-requisites: 

 Experience and Strong Emphasis with automated testing tools Python, etc… ( Writing the Phyton Scripting is mandatory but not executing the scripts)

Robot-framework is mandatory.

• Strong working knowledge of networking (TCP/IP) and wireless (802.11 a/b/g/n)

• Experience with network management tools (e.g. Sniffers, Ethereal)

• Defect-tracking tools experience: JIRA, Clearcase, Bugzilla

• Exposure to source control tools such as SVN or Git

• Knowledge of certification process such as Microsoft WHQL a plus

Additional Advantage:

• Experience with Qualcomm tools: QXDM, QPST etc are desirable

• Knowledge and experience in wireless industry and LTE, CDMA 1xRTT/EVDO, GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSPA technologies are desirable

• Flexible team player, self-reliant and self-starter

• Positive attitude, quick and logical thinker

• Attention to detail and solid oral and written communications skills a must

• Must understand software development life cycle as well as QA processes and methodologies in a software development environment.
