Snr. Drupal Developer / DevOps Engineer

My client is a national not for profit organisation dealing with the health of our at risk citizens including Adults, Young Adults, Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islanders and some people from an Asian background. Their aim is to assist through education, raising awareness and connecting people to improve quality of life for those who need it. This position would be ideal for the candidate who wants to feel good about the work they do whilst having a day per week to work on personal projects.

We are looking for an experienced Drupal Developer with DevOps experience to join this small and important organisation. Will be responsible for continuing development of the eLearning platform, based on Drupal 7 & Moodle LMS. You will be required to continually optimise the site’s performance and manage the infrastructure used to host the Web Instructor Management System (WIMS) and the Moodle LMS, which is based on RHEL and CentOS, running on Rackspace.

Part of the position will require testing / bug fixing and providing L3 tech support. An interesting, all-encompassing Drupal position. 

• Lead ongoing product development
• $90,000 pro rata + salary packaging  (4 days per week)
• Located 3km North of Melbourne CBD

• Extensive Drupal experience, ideally in Drupal 7 (module development, SSO etc.)
• Demonstrated proficiency in core PHP / MySQL
• Previous experience with Moodle or similar LMS
• Proven experience managing cloud infrastructure and Linux SysAdmin (Red Hat Enterprise Linux)
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
