Skilled Welder - Generator Fabrication (MIG & ARC)

Apt Resources is looking for a talented and experienced Skilled Welder specializing in generator fabrication using MIG and ARC welding techniques. Join our client's team in a fast-paced environment where your skills and expertise will contribute to the production of high-quality generators.

As a Skilled Welder, you will be responsible for accurately joining metal components together to create generators according to specifications. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be paramount in this role.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and ARC welding on generator components and assemblies
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for fabrication
• Prepare metal surfaces for welding by cleaning, cutting, and fitting
• Conduct quality checks to ensure welds meet industry standards and specifications
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times
• Collaborate with other team members to meet production deadlines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Technical Certificate in Welding.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in welding and fabrication.
• Physically capable of reaching, bending, stooping, and frequently lifting medium to heavy objects.
• Knowledge of various welding equipment and tools
• Excellent attention to detail and dedication to producing quality work
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Certifications in welding will be an advantage
