Site Superintendent – Structural & Steel Works (Expression of Interest)

Site Supervision & Package Execution

• Supervise the day-to-day execution of a dedicated civil or structural construction package

• Ensure works are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, project schedules, and quality standards

• Monitor construction progress and support timely delivery of assigned work packages

Civil Package Management

• Lead the execution of specialized civil and structural construction packages, including reinforced concrete structures, structural steel works, complex building frameworks, and other large-scale structural construction activities.

• Coordinate site activities to ensure construction is carried out in line with project requirements

• Identify and resolve field issues that may impact productivity or construction progress

Subcontractor Coordination

• Supervise specialised subcontractors and ensure compliance with project procedures, safety requirements, and technical specifications

• Monitor subcontractor performance, workmanship, and productivity

• Verify that construction activities meet approved quality standards and project milestones

Interface & Site Coordination

• Coordinate work interfaces and handovers between adjacent construction packages

• Work closely with the General Site Superintendent to ensure efficient coordination across multiple construction disciplines

• Support smooth workflow transitions between project teams and specialised work packages

Education

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline 

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of hands-on field supervision experience within civil construction projects

• Between 60% and 70% of your professional experience gained within contractor organizations

• Proven project delivery experience within the United Arab Emirates and/or the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Technical Expertise

• Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies and site supervision

• Experience supervising specialized civil packages involving reinforced concrete structures, structural steel, large-span structural works, complex building frameworks, or other major structural construction packages.

• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, quality control, and site safety practices

Skills & Working Style

• Strong leadership and team coordination skills

• Practical, hands-on approach to site supervision

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary construction teams
