Job Description Summary:

Leads property and facilities development, management, and maintenance activities aligned with the company, mission, vison, and strategy.

RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Provide overall leadership and oversight of site operations, ensuring safe, efficient, compliant, and cost-effective manufacturing performance.
  • Drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and process optimization initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and cost competitiveness.
  • Develop and execute site strategies, capital projects, and long-range plans to support growth, capacity, and operational objectives.
  • Manage site financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, operating costs, capital expenditures, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with EHS, GMP, ISO, quality systems, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies while maintaining audit readiness.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor site personnel through talent management, succession planning, employee engagement, and performance development.
  • Partner with commercial, supply chain, quality, engineering, and corporate stakeholders to support customer requirements and business objectives.
  • Oversee manufacturing assets, facilities, labor relations, and service providers to ensure long-term reliability, efficiency, and operational success.


  REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of operations leadership experience in a chemical, industrial, or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lead complex plant operations, develop talent, and mentor high-performing teams; union environment experience is a plus.
  • Proven success leading operational and cultural change initiatives in complex manufacturing organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools, including 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience managing plant financial performance.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 18001 standards, with SAP experience required; SAP integration experience preferred.
  • Strong strategic planning, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
