Site Engineer

Job Summary: The Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from conception to completion while ensuring they are completed in a timely manner and within budget. This role involves managing the day-to-day activities on the construction site, liaising with subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate construction activities on-site to ensure projects are executed according to design specifications and project requirements.
• Review project drawings and specifications to ensure full understanding and compliance by the site team.
• Monitor construction progress and provide regular updates to project stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards throughout the project.
• Communicate effectively with architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues that arise during construction.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the work being performed and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Prepare daily reports and documentation related to site activities.
• Assist in managing the project budget by tracking expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Implement and enforce site safety measures, ensuring all team members are aware of and adhere to safety protocols.
• Help in the selection and management of subcontractors, ensuring their work meets quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in site engineering or construction management.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and building codes.
• Experience with project management software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in both English and Arabic is preferred.
