Simulator Technician (m/f/d)
 
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining and supporting flight simulators and associated systems to ensure safe and efficient training operations. Key duties include:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve simulator system issues
  • Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and system checks (pre-/post-flight, QTG runs)
  • Record activities in the Maintenance Management System
  • Support visual system tasks, hardware upgrades, and refurbishments
  • Handle basic logistics, parts management, and testing
  • Provide timely customer support and maintain simulator readiness
  • Ensure compliance with CAE policies, safety standards, and aviation regulations

Requirements:
  • Technical degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Aviation, with initial professional experience
  • EU work authorization and strong English skills, very good German skills would be an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of aviation systems, simulation technology, and aircraft terminology
  • Ability to read technical documentation and perform troubleshooting using test equipment and software tools
  • Understanding of analog/digital principles, IT systems, and operating systems (e.g. Windows, Linux)
  • Familiarity with MS Office
  • Knowledge of aviation regulations (EASA) and Health & Safety standards
  • Proactive, motivated team player with strong customer focus
  • Able to work independently and in flexible shift schedules (24/7)
