Course Description: Matter and its transformations are studied at the macroscopic level. Topics include stoichiometry, phases of matter, equilibria, thermodynamics and electrochemistry.
Number of Positions (est): 2 positions. * Positions are dependent on actual course enrolment, and are not guaranteed.

Hours of work (est): 100 hours

Sessional dates of appointment: September 2026 – December 2026
Salary: CUPE3902 Unit 3 Salaries. The rates stated in the collective agreement shall prevail.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in Chemistry. Sound knowledge in contents covered in the course required. Previous TA experience marking assignments, quizzes, tests and/or final exam in Chemistry an asset to be able to evaluate students' work consistently within the UofT's standards. Good communication skills are required as well.
Description of Duties: Duties will include marking assignments, quizzes, term tests, and/or final examination.
Closing date: August 13, 2026, 11:59pm. Returning pool members with intention to accept positions are highly encouraged to apply and will be given priority for positions.
