Position Summary:
This position is responsible for processing all guest and patron reservations at the Pro Shop.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:
- Creates and processes Tee Times for all patrons
- Coordinates Tee Times with the Starter
- Assists customers and professional staff in golf shop merchandise sales
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handles incoming phone calls
- Assists patrons in the Golf Pro Shop
- Assists with tournament play, as needed
Minimum Education and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience at a golf course
- A working knowledge of the game of golf
- A valid Driver’s License
Competencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent customer service and telephone skills
Training Requirements:
- Working knowledge of the JOANAS Golf Management System
- Working knowledge of the rules and regulations of the game of golf
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions
- Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
