Ship & Receive Technician

·         Works together with internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery to customers’ specifications and accurate receipt of goods.

·         Working as part of a team, coordinates receipt of all deliveries to the warehouse and processes shipments appropriately

·         Prepares shipments and determines the most economical and efficient shipping method; selects appropriate shipping container; packs items to ensure safe delivery.

·         Prepares bills of lading; checks items to be shipped against work orders to ascertain that quantities, destination, and routing are correct.

·         Completes required Dangerous Goods shipping training and receives appropriate certification needed. Recertifies annually or as required.

·         Creates accurate export paperwork.

·         Maintain department databases, accurately update ERP system, prepare routine reports, and scan/file shipping records.

·         Willing to perform other duties as assigned or needed by the team.

·         Follows established Company and departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives.

·         Always Maintains Safety Standards.

·         Cross-trains and assists in other Supply Chain areas (material handling, inventory) or helps in production when shipping is not busy.
