SharePoint Developer/Designer

We are seeking a skilled SharePoint Developer/Designer to lead the design, development, and implementation of our SharePoint-based portal. The portal will serve as a knowledge hub for documenting business workflows, engineering processes, BIM practices, and automation tools. The ideal candidate will have experience in SharePoint customization, workflow automation, and system integrations, with the ability to create a user-friendly platform tailored to the business's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain the SharePoint portal, ensuring a user-friendly and functional platform.
• Create, customize, and maintain workflows to manage business documentation and automate approval processes.
• Implement custom forms, libraries, and document repositories for BIM processes, engineering workflows, Revit add-ins, and Revit content.
• Develop a catalog system for Revit add-ins, ensuring integration with Azure DevOps pipelines to automatically populate the catalog with new releases.
• Integrate the SharePoint portal with other business systems such as Aice 365, Power Platform, and Azure DevOps.
• Implement security practices, data governance, and data retention strategies in the SharePoint environment.
• Provide technical support for SharePoint users, ensuring smooth adoption of the portal.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure the platform meets business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering.
• Proficiency in SharePoint Online development, design, and customization.
• Experience in Power Automate, Power Apps, and Microsoft Flow for workflow automation.
• Strong knowledge of SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React for developing custom web parts and applications.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for integrating CI/CD pipelines and managing version control for Revit add-ins.
• Experience in developing document libraries, lists, and content management solutions in SharePoint.
• Understanding of security protocols, data governance, and document control practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience working in a construction, engineering, or manufacturing environment with knowledge of BIM processes.
• Familiarity with Revit add-ins and the Autodesk ecosystem.
