Course number and title:  PSY322H1F (LEC0101) – Intergroup Relations

Course description:  An in-depth examination of theories and research in intergroup relations; focuses on stereotyping, prejudice, discrimination, and stigma.

Estimated TA support:  108 hours
 
Estimated course enrolment:  60 students

Class schedule:  In-Person, Tuesdays 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Sessional Lecturer I, Long Term: $10,699.22
Sessional Lecturer II: $10,699.22
Sessional Lecturer II, Long Term: $10,953.96
Sessional Lecturer III: $10,953.96
Sessional Lecturer III, Long Term: $11,228.90

*Please note that should rates stipulated in the Collective Agreement vary from rates stated in this posting, the rates in the Collective Agreement shall prevail.

Minimum Qualifications: Completion of PhD studies in Social Psychology; demonstrated scholarship in the area of intergroup relations; past experience and demonstrated excellence TAing and/or teaching courses in social psychology and intergroup relations.

Preferred Qualifications:  Experience in teaching social psychology and intergroup relations courses at the University of Toronto’s St. George Campus.

Description of duties: Lecturing; counselling students; setting final exam; invigilating and reporting final marks and; supervising course TAs.
