Service Technician- Workshop

Crown Equipment Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Service Technician in our Workshop. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of a variety of forklift, reach truck, pallet truck, other material handling equipment, ensuring reliability and safety for our clients. Our workshop is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, and you will play a critical role in maintaining the high standards of service that Crown is known for.

Your expertise will be instrumental in troubleshooting technical issues, performing scheduled maintenance, and executing repairs in a timely and efficient manner. You will work closely with our service team and other technicians to enhance customer satisfaction and ensure equipment performance meets industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on various types of material handling equipment specifically Forklift.
• Perform scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain detailed records of service activities and parts used in repairs.
• Collaborate with the workshop team to improve processes and enhance service delivery.
• Stay current with industry standards, safety protocols, and technical advancements.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance.
• Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge of equipment.

Requirements

• SPM, Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field SKM, etc.
• Proven experience as a forklift / service technician or mechanic in a similar industry.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Good communication skills and committed to work.
