Job description

 

Responsibilities:

  • Installation, commissioning and testing of CNC machines and automation systems at customer sites
  • Performing preventive maintenance and service activities to ensure optimal machine performance
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues
  • Providing on-site technical support and assisting customers with technical inquiries
  • Supporting the development and establishment of service and customer structures within the regional market
  • Documenting all service activities and coordinating closely with internal and international teams

 

Profile | Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in a field service role, ideally within the CNC or machine tool industry
  • Strong skills in diagnosing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as CNC (and ideally PLC) technologies
  • Solid knowledge of CNC milling; experience with Heidenhain controls is an advantage
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics and engineering drawings
  • Independent and structured working style combined with a strong service and customer-oriented mindset, with the ability to operate in a developing market environment
  • High willingness to travel (up to approx. 75%), valid driver’s license and very good English skills
