Now Hiring - Service Porter

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 Hourly

Schedule: Full Time. We ask that you have open availability to support dealership operations and customer demand. Successful candidates will be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as these are peak sales periods.

This position is onsite and reports to the Service Manager.

What You'll Do

• Help us earn customers for life by creating welcoming and trusted experiences for our customers.
• Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel cover, and floor mats in vehicles arriving for service.
• Identify the service advisor with whom the customer has an appointment and notify that advisor.
• Drive vehicles from the service lane to their proper places in the service parking lot.
• Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking lot when the customer pays their bill or as the advisor directs.
• Maintain the parking lot and service work area
• Assist the Service Receptionist with incoming telephone calls.
• Assist Shuttle driver when needed.
• Perform clerical tasks as assigned by service management.
• Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its employees or customers.

What You'll Bring

• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
• We prefer a candidate with 1+ year of automotive experience but we do not require it.
• Working knowledge of computers and technology. Comfortability in navigating computer and dealership technologies.
• Comfort in operating several cars, light trucks, and vans, with an ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions
• Have a desire to grow with us in this automotive industry

The average wage range for this position is $18.00-$20.00 Hourly

Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
