Service Engineer

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and inspectionsin accordance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Collaborate with the service team to address customer needs and enhance service delivery.
• Diagnose faults and provide technical solutions to complex equipment issues.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts required, and job completion timelines.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site and promote a safety-conscious environment.
• Assist in the identification of opportunities for service contracts and spare parts sales during service visits.
• Foster strong customer relationships and provide exceptional customer service to build trust and repeat business.
• Travel to customer sites as required for service delivery and emergencies.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry best practices and new technologies.

Requirements

• Technical diploma or degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5 years of experience working with cranes or similar marine lifting equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent communication and report writing abilities.
• Willingness to work irregular hours and travel as necessary.
• Proficient in MS Office and technical documentation.
• Experience on marine/ offshore cranes and lifting equipment will be advantageous
