Job description

Responsible for providing lab based and customer-site service, calibrations, and support according to our approved processes and procedures for EMC test and amplifier equipment.  This position requires hands on experience with troubleshooting repairing, testing, and calibrating of EMC test equipment and amplifier equipment.  Perform unit and system level tests to various standards and problem solving with minimal supervision.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support regional service manager to establish a professional service and support business.
  • Continuous improvement of workflows and processes within the area of responsibility.
  • 2nd Level fault diagnostics, troubleshooting and repairs, both in-house and on-site.
  • Support on service and calibration requirements by coordinating between customers and factories.
  • Electrical (DC / LF / RF) calibration in accordance with ISO 17025 requirements.
  • Commissioning, installation and training of products/systems delivered.
  • Up to 20-30% travel will be required for Service and support functions.

 

Documentation:

  • Managing and keeping records of Service and Support cases.
  • Execute, maintain and improves calibration documentation in accordance to company quality system standards (e.g. ISO 17025, ISO 9001, …etc.)
  • Prepare service quotations estimates.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Electronics Engineering.
  • 3 or more years of experience in calibration and repair of electronic equipment.
  • Fresh Graduate with good academic results can also be considered.
  • Strong electronics background, good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Read and interpret schematics and block diagrams.
  • Exceptional organizational and logistical skills required to manage schedules, travel, certificates, and reporting.
  • Customer facing. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Excellent English oral and written communications skills.
  • Independent, confident, persistent, assertive, committed, focused, mission oriented, and a good team player.
  • Added advantage:
    • Comfortable with soldering iron, AC/DC power supplies, multimeter, function generators. spectrum and network analyzer, signal generators, sweep generators, oscilloscope, power meters, and other RF related
    • quipment.
    • Experienced in Telecoms/RF field and Low-voltage power systems preferred.
    • Experienced in International EMC standards, including ISO, IEC, ANSI, etc. preferred.
    • Knowledge in ISO 17025 calibrations
