Server - Freedom Beat

POSITION SUMMARY: 

This position is responsible for providing guests with a positive experience and maintaining Downtown Grand's brand standards as set by the Restaurant Manager.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

• Maintain and promote hospitality at all times
• Welcome guests efficiently and courteously
• Receive food and beverage orders from guests accurately and efficiently.
• Assist guests with their selections by making suggestions.
• Have and maintain knowledge of all menu items including specials.
• Accurately enter items into POS system
• Work in conjunction with the bussers, bartenders, host staff and kitchen.
• Completes side work as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience working in a kitchen; preferably in a hospitality environment.
• Experience working in a fast paced setting.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to understand and take direction.
• Ability to obtain a Southern Nevada Health Card and Alcohol Awareness Card.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
• Must be able to multi task
• Ability to use a multi-line phone and speak articulately

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Prolonged periods of standing.
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds at times.
• Ability to work in an environment that is subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, and smoke.
• Follow all safety procedures as established by the company.
