About the Job

As a Senior Videographer, you will lead the creative execution and visual storytelling of BJAK’s video content across platforms. You’ll drive concept development, manage end-to-end production, and elevate the visual quality of all marketing and brand materials. This role is ideal for a hands-on creator with strong leadership instincts and a passion for crafting visually powerful narratives that connect with audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Direction & Production

  • Lead planning, storyboarding, and execution of high-quality video content across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Xiaohongshu (XHS).

  • Develop and own creative concepts that enhance brand storytelling, drive engagement, and align with campaign objectives.

  • Set visual direction and ensure all content reflects BJAK’s tone, style, and brand identity.

  • Produce visually compelling content — from corporate storytelling to fast-turnaround social videos.

Post-Production Excellence

  • Oversee and execute professional-level editing, including color grading, sound design, motion graphics, and subtitling.

  • Manage multiple projects concurrently with high attention to quality, consistency, and delivery timelines.

  • Establish best practices and editing standards to maintain visual coherence across all BJAK content.

Team Collaboration & Mentorship

  • Work closely with the Creative, Marketing, and Social Media teams to bring ideas to life through strong visual narratives.

  • Mentor junior videographers or editors, providing feedback and creative guidance.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, copywriters, and strategists to deliver cohesive content campaigns.

Production & Workflow Management

  • Oversee the full production pipeline — from media management and equipment setup to file optimization and export.

  • Maintain organized archives of raw footage, assets, and project files for easy access and reuse.

  • Troubleshoot technical or production issues to ensure smooth and efficient execution.

Innovation & Trend Leadership

  • Stay ahead of video trends, emerging formats, and creative tools to ensure BJAK’s content remains fresh and relevant.

  • Experiment with new storytelling techniques and visual styles to increase audience reach and retention.

  • Continuously improve production workflows to enhance speed and quality.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Film, Multimedia, Communication, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in videography, video editing, and creative production (agency or in-house experience preferred).

  • Strong portfolio or showreel showcasing diverse video styles and storytelling techniques.

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition).

  • Skilled in camera operations, lighting setups, and audio recording.

  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, video algorithms, and content optimization.

  • Strong sense of visual storytelling, composition, pacing, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Experience leading small production teams or freelancers is a plus.

Why Join BJAK

  • Above-market remuneration.

  • Fast-track career growth & regional exposure.

  • Meaningful, mission-driven work that impacts millions.

  • Collaborative and inclusive team culture.

  • Flat structure — ideas and initiative matter more than titles.

  • High autonomy, real responsibility, and unlimited growth potential.
