Job Description

BSN required and leadership experience preferred. Experience with transplantation including kidney, pancreas and liver highly valued. Coordinates and manages patient clinical evaluations and education. Management of and coordination of staff schedules including on-call schedule. Participates in the development of kidney transplant policies in collaboration with the director of Transplant Services and Physician leadership. Participates in Kidney Transplant Staff and Department Regulatory preparedness. Work closely with patients and families, collaborates with multi-disciplinary teams as well as works independently to achieve departmental goals. This position consists of nursing and assistant direct reports and yearly appraisal and payroll responsibility. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant contribution to the level of patient services in this dynamic specialty area. This position does have on call requirements. Superior interpersonal skills and communication skills are essential to be successful in this role.
