Senior Test Automation - CAD

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer with hands-on experience testing enterprise 3D CAD/CAM/CAE applications. The ideal candidate should have worked on system and regression testing of engineering software by developing and executing test automation scripts. This role is intended for QA/Test Automation professionals, not end users or design engineers of these products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for 3D CAD/CAM/CAE applications.
  
• Execute System Testing and Regression Testing using automation frameworks.
  
• Validate application functionality, performance, and stability across releases.
  
• Develop and maintain reusable automation frameworks and test suites.
  
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
  
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and release validation.
  
• Maintain test documentation, automation reports, and defect tracking.
  

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
  
• Proven experience testing one or more of the listed CAD/CAM/CAE products.
  
• Hands-on experience in System Testing and Regression Testing using automation.
  
• Experience with any test automation tool or framework (tool is flexible).
  
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and QA best practices.
  
• Experience with test case design, execution, and automation maintenance.
  
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
