Senior Team Member, Custodian/Digital Platforms/PDS

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Team Member, Custodian/Digital Platforms/PDS to join our team at RHB Trustees. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and managing operational activities related to Unit Trust Fund Administration (UTFA) and Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), while ensuring efficient execution of custodial and digital platform processes. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, fund managers, trustees, regulators, and service providers to ensure operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and high-quality service delivery.

What you will be doing

• Manage and support daily operational activities relating to UTFA and REITs, ensuring accuracy and timely execution of transactions and reporting requirements

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including fund managers, trustees, regulators, and vendors, to facilitate smooth operational processes

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, internal policies, operational procedures, and service level agreements

• Support the implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of digital platform initiatives to improve operational efficiency and customer experience

• Monitor and resolve operational issues, discrepancies, and exceptions in a timely manner while minimizing operational risks

• Prepare, review, and maintain operational documentation, reports, and records to ensure completeness and accuracy

• Participate in system testing, process improvement initiatives, and project implementations related to custodial and digital platform services

• Support team leaders and management in achieving departmental objectives and delivering high-quality services to clients and stakeholders

• Protect the reputation and integrity of the department, the Bank, and the Group through adherence to governance and risk management standards

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience in fund administration, custody services, investment operations, unit trust, REITs, or related financial services functions

• Good understanding of Unit Trust Fund Administration (UTFA), REITs, custodial services, and capital market operations

• Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and industry guidelines issued by the Securities Commission Malaysia, Bursa Malaysia, and other applicable authorities

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within tight deadlines

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
