Who We’re Looking For (Position Overview):

Spry Methods is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to support full-cycle recruiting efforts for both active government contracts and strategic growth initiatives. This role will partner closely with hiring managers, program leadership, and the Business Development team to identify, attract, and hire top technical talent while maintaining a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. 

 

What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities)

    • Manage full-cycle recruiting for technical, cleared, and corporate positions supporting active contracts and proposal efforts.  

    • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, develop recruiting strategies, and provide market insights throughout the hiring process.  

    • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists by providing coaching, performance feedback, training, and day-to-day recruiting support. 

    • Source qualified candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, ClearanceJobs, referrals, job boards, networking, and other sourcing tools.  

    • Conduct candidate screenings, coordinate interviews, gather hiring manager feedback, negotiate offers, and manage candidates through the hiring process.  

    • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current openings and anticipated contract awards.  

    • Support proposal recruiting efforts by identifying qualified candidates, collecting Letters of Commitment (LOCs), and helping meet proposal staffing requirements.  

    • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the Applicant Tracking System (Lever preferred).  

    • Track recruiting metrics and provide updates on pipeline health, hiring activity, and recruiting progress.  

    • Develop and maintain relationships with staffing partners, subcontractors, and external recruiting vendors.  

    • Partner with Human Resources and hiring managers to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.  

    • Assist with recruiting process improvements, documentation, and best practices to improve efficiency and candidate experience.  

    • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior recruiters while promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing across the recruiting team.  

    • Represent Spry Methods professionally throughout the recruiting process while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.  

What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements):

    • 3-5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably supporting federal government contractors.  

    • Experience leading, mentoring, or managing recruiters in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. 

    • Experience recruiting technical professionals across Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Cloud, Program Management, and Corporate functions.  

    • Experience recruiting candidates with active U.S. Government security clearances.  

    • Strong sourcing experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, ClearanceJobs, and other recruiting platforms.  

    • Experience supporting proposal recruiting and staffing initiatives.  

    • Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.  

    • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.  

    • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.  

    • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (Lever preferred).  

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.  

Ideally, You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.  

    • Experience recruiting for DoD, Intelligence Community, or Federal Civilian agencies.  

    • Experience mentoring recruiters or leading recruiting initiatives.  

    • Knowledge of federal government contracting and proposal processes.  

    • Experience utilizing recruiting metrics to drive hiring decisions.
