The Role

We have an opportunity for a Senior Structural Project Engineer to join our Structural Practice, with a focus on complex structures such as stadiums, arenas, airports and long span roofs. Candidates for the position should have experience in developing, refine and validate structural models usings SAP2000 and/or ETABS.  Experience with structural steel design is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the direction, coordination, planning, organization, integration, and completion of engineering projects within the area of assigned responsibility.

• Perform linear and nonlinear static/dynamic analysis, including seismic and wind.

• Collaborate with other structural engineers to optimize designs for performance, efficiency, and constructability.

• Conduct parametric studies to assess structural behavior under various loading conditions.

• Support junior engineers and provide guidance on best modeling practices.

• Communicate with clients to understand project requirements.

• Plan and formulate engineering programs and organize project staff according to project requirements.

• Perform analysis and design of structural systems of buildings and materials using various building codes.

• Direct project staff in preparing contract documents, such as drawings and specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Master’s degree in structural engineering is preferred.

• Prior experience in large-scale complex sports, aviation, or special structures projects.

• Ability and willingness to travel within Vietnam.
