Responsibilities

• Act as the overall Technical Lead for FUSE (GCSFuse) and the site lead for the storage AI/ML Solutions organisation in Hyderabad. 
• Partner with engineering management and local teams to architect, execute, and scale the core storage charter across GCSFuse, FusionFS, client-side data paths, benchmarks, and performance optimization. 
• Drive the technical roadmap and innovation strategy for client-side AI/ML storage, directly expanding the team's scope, capabilities, and business impact. 
• Advocate the design, execution, and tuning of planet-scale benchmarks to cement GCP Storage as the undisputed industry leader for AI/ML workloads. 

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++ or Python.

Preferred qualifications:

• 15 years of experience as a software engineer and architect.
• Experience with ML infrastructure, frameworks, algorithms and tools.
• Experience in distributed storage and file system.
