Senior Staff Engineer Industry 4.0

Act as technical expert for automation solutions of Industry 40/smart factory, such as material handling automation, equipment automation, equipment-process-automation, system integration & EQ automation controlling system in manufacturing environment.

Job Description
In your new role you will:

1. Act as technical expert for automation solutions of Industry 40/smart factory, such as material handling automation, equipment automation, equipment-process-automation, system integration & EQ automation controlling system in manufacturing environment.
2. Lead and drive first kind of automation topic from concept study to handover and support automation roll out to bring value to IFX BE .
3. Improvement, optimize and sustain automation solution to meet committed KPI, such as harvesting, automation performance (UPH, OEE, MTBF, MTBA… ).
4. Work with cross function teams to gather requirement, align with key stakeholders, translate requirement to technical requirement & Spec.
5. Leading & support feasibility study and Prove Of Concept(POC) with internal & external team, balance opportunity & risk, trigger real happen and create value through innovation.
6. Responsible & support automation solution setup, trail run, buyoff, change management and continual improvement & optimization.
7. Drive automation partner for automation system design, hardware, software, interface and integration; lead automation design and review with site and function team.
8. New technologies study, development and demo, design standardization and define approach & guidance with I40 design team.

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

1. Bachelor and above in Automation engineering, Mechanical-Electronical engineering, Computer Science & Technology, Software engineering related.
2. 3~5years software application development, or architecture design, or EQ interface and control development with C#/C++/Python…
3. Familiar with system and hardware integration, EQ/automation integrated with MES, EAF/EAP, MCS, LLC(low level controller, such as PLC, PC..)…with SecsGem protocol or generic protocol for smart factory.
4. Has experience in automatic solutions like the Cobot/Robot, AGV/AMR, Humanoid Robot and Auto conveyor, auto storage application in production area.
5. Has experience in machine/deep learning, AI model build up & training with vision system, Humanoid Robot, AMR..
6. Has Experience for smart factory/manufacturing design and execution is plus.
7. Prefer the experience in customize automatic solution development, like new automatic equipment design or new automatic handling system design etc…with 3D design software.
8. Prefer the experience in Semiconductor Backend on standard/customized equipment design and development.
