Senior Staff Engineer Design

​Development and Maintenance of In-house tools used in the development of Analog/IO design development.

Job Description
In your new role you will:

• Development and Maintenance of In-house tools used in thedevelopment of Analog/IO design development.
• Requirements Management tools interfacing with JAMA,VESPER, WindChill etc
• IO modelling and characterization/view generationtool suite.
• Provide support/training to the user group by helping them debug theissues during the tool usage.
• Work closely with cross functional teams to get the needed support/inputs necessary for the development.
• Drive the execution of the automation requirements of the Designteams. Customize exiting tools or propose new tools to reduce the designcycle time.
• Strong problem-solving skills, results orientation, attention todetail, and effective communication skills are the key for thisposition.
• Comply with coding standards and ensuring compliance with allInfineon Quality/Process practices in Software development.

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Solid experience in the areas of Software programming and EDA tooldevelopment.
• Key Technical Skills :
• Knowledge and Hands on Object Oriented programming, Qt, C++, Perl, Shell Scripting, Data structures, Python programming.
• Understand requirements and build quick solutions to help designers
• Hands on experience in developing large scale Object Oriented Software Programs and UML.
• Experience in working /debugging with GUI applications.
• Expertise in process automation using scripting.
• Knowledge and application of Design patterns.
• In-depth knowledge of makefile, XML parsing.

• Good to have :

Knowledge of ASIC flow, full custom/semi-custom design flow, analog circuit simulation flow/tools.
Experience in working on Analog Mixed Signal Design Methodology.

• Behavioral Skills :

Drive to execute a problem from start to end
Very good analytical skills required to evaluate complex situations
Good reporting and presentation skills and great team player
