Senior Staff Engineer

Manage subcontractor manufacturing in Thailand, ensuring quality, yield, delivery, process stability, and seamless integration of new processes/partners.

Job Description
In your new role you will:

• Manage subcontractor manufacturing operations in Thailand, focusing on assembly, machinery, processing, and packaging for various semiconductor packages.
• Ensure reliable and high-quality operations at production partners through effective operational planning and logistics.
• Monitor and continuously improve process stability, production yield, and manufacturing quality at subcontractor sites.
• Optimize cycle times and delivery reliability to achieve consistent delivery performance.
• Oversee the enabling and qualification of new production partners or new manufacturing processes.
• Conduct regular operational audits to ensure compliance with quality and performance standards.
• Collaborate with production partners to identify and implement process improvements.
• Ensure seamless integration of new processes and partners into manufacturing operations while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Must hold a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Chemical).
• Possess in-depth knowledge of methodologies such as 8D, DoE, FMEA, Quality Systems, Reliability (REL), and Failure Analysis (FA).
• Demonstrate technical expertise as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in semiconductor assembly processes.
• Skilled in solving complex technical issues using methodical problem-solving techniques and analytical tools, with experience in FE-BE and BE-BE integration (pre-assembly, assembly, test) and interactions of the 5Ms.
• Have strong technical expertise in the materials (both direct and indirect) used in assembly processes.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across OSAT cross-functional groups and divisions to drive cost productivity projects and quality programs, including process simplification and automation.
• Passionate about driving yield improvements and leading innovative projects, including the exchange of lessons learned (fan-in/fan-out) and Best Known Methods (BKMs).
• Able to work independently and handle responsibilities with minimal supervision.
