Job Title: Senior Staff Accountant

Job Type: Direct Hire/Fulltime

Job Location: Anaheim, CA

Amtec is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to work for an Aerospace manufacturer located in Anaheim, CA.  The Senior Staff Accountant will support the accounting department, working with multiple customers, and daily focus on AR functions.  Will need to provide support to the Controller with all other accounting, especially at month end. (Need to be able to stay late on occasion, end of month.)

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:

•  Experience in aerospace technology, electronics engineering or manufacturing a must

•  Heavy on AR experience

•  Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

•  Comfortable with customer interface, and internal communications with Project Managers

•  Advanced Excel a must; working knowledge of Manex (customer ERP for electronic manufacturing) would be a huge plus

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

-  Invoicing/ Billing/ Collection/ Filing

-  Provide Assistance to Controller & CFO on:

o  General Ledger Reconciliations

o  Journal Entries

o  Bank Reconciliations

o  Audit Research Request

o  Reporting

-  Working with Program Managers/Shipping Department and customers on:

o  Maintaining associated logs and prepare associated reports

o  Ability to research history when required

o  Maintain open communication regarding pricing issues, RMAs, collection

-  Ability to Multi-task
