Senior Solution Architect

We are looking for an experienced Senior Solution Architect to join our team and support government digital transformation initiatives. In this role, you will work closely with government clients, business stakeholders, Account Managers, BDMs, and technology partners to understand business challenges and design innovative, scalable, and practical technology solutions. 

You will play a key role throughout the pre-sales and solutioning lifecycle, from customer discovery and requirements gathering to solution design, technical proposals, government tenders, presentations, and project transition. 

Key Responsibilities 

Solution Consulting & Architecture 

• Understand customer business requirements, challenges, and pain points to identify the right technology solutions.  
• Design end-to-end solution architectures that align with customer objectives, technical requirements, and business needs.  
• Evaluate and recommend suitable technologies, architecture patterns, and implementation approaches.  
• Develop solution concepts and technical designs across multiple technology domains.  

Customer & Technical Engagement 

• Conduct customer discovery sessions, technical discussions, and solution workshops.  
• Present and explain solution architectures to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.  
• Provide technical consultation and guidance throughout the pre-sales and opportunity lifecycle.  
• Address technical questions and provide clarification during customer discussions.  

Government Tender & Proposal 

• Review and analyse Government Terms of Reference (TOR), Request for Proposal (RFP), and other procurement requirements.  
• Contribute to the development of technical specifications, solution designs, and technical proposal documents.  
• Support the preparation of tender responses and technical submissions.  
• Participate in technical clarification sessions during the bidding and evaluation process.  

Technical Leadership & Collaboration 

• Work closely with Business Development, Account Management, Delivery Teams, and Technology Partners to develop comprehensive solutions.  
• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the pre-sales process.  
• Ensure effective handover and transition of proposed solutions from pre-sales to project delivery teams.  
• Support the team in addressing technical challenges and ensuring alignment between customer expectations and proposed solutions.  

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Solution Architecture, Pre-Sales, Technical Consulting, or a similar role.  
• Proven experience in designing and delivering enterprise or government technology solutions.  
• Strong understanding of solution architecture and the ability to design solutions across multiple technology domains.  
• Experience in reviewing or preparing Government TOR, RFP, tender responses, and technical proposal documents.  
• Strong customer-facing, presentation, and workshop facilitation skills.  
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.  
• Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills.  
• Ability to work collaboratively with sales, business development, delivery, and technology teams.  
• AWS certification is highly advantageous.  

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience working with government agencies or public-sector organisations.  
• Experience participating in government tenders and procurement processes.  
• AWS Cloud architecture or relevant cloud certification.  
• Experience working in a System Integrator, IT Consulting, Cloud Services, or Technology Consulting environment.
