Senior Solution Architect

The Senior Solution Architect is responsible for designing and implementing complex technical solutions that align with the organization's business goals and technology strategy. This role involves leading the architectural design, ensuring scalability, security, and performance, and providing technical guidance to development teams. The Senior Solution Architect collaborates with stakeholders, including business leaders, developers, and technical teams, to deliver robust and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design and Architecture:

• Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance technical solutions.
• Define system architecture, including software, hardware, and integration strategies.
• Create architectural blueprints, technical specifications, and design documents.
• Create detailed documentation for architecture, design, and implementation strategies.
• Ensure solutions align with business requirements, industry best practices, and organizational standards.

Technical Leadership:

• Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks to support business objectives.
• Conduct design reviews to ensure adherence to architectural standards.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Work closely with project managers, developers, and other delivery teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

System Integration and Optimization:

• Design and oversee the integration of third-party systems, APIs, and services.
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the system architecture.

Security and Compliance:

• Ensure solutions comply with security standards, data protection regulations, and industry best practices.
• Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data and systems.
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and industry developments.
• Evaluate and adopt new tools and methodologies to enhance system architecture.

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in software development, systems architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role, with a focus on designing and delivering large-scale systems.
• Strong background in microservices, and distributed systems.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
