General Function: 

The Senior Solution Architect is an expert in IT Services that partners with Sales, Service Delivery, Subcontractor Partner, Finance, and Portfolio teams to grow business by crafting solutions that align with each opportunity’s win strategy.

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Solutions, the Senior Solution Architect will be passionate and enthusiastic about solving client problems and will drive and effectively lead the solutioning of Pomeroy’s largest and most complex multi-tower opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of using his or her skills to help win new business. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The main areas of responsibility are:

  • Assessing new opportunities
  • Meeting with prospects and clients to confirm understanding technical and financial requirements
  • Assembling solutions that meet technical and financial requirements
  • Contributing to solution-related written proposal content
  • Lead costing and pricing of services
  • Collaboration and coordination with Service Delivery, IT, HR, and Finance stakeholders
  • Working with service delivery partners (sub-contractors) to receive quotes
  • Creating and overseeing the development of effective presentation material and presenting to technical and executive client audiences and delivering client presentations
  • Writing and negotiating Statements of Work

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, Master’s degree in related field a plus
  • A strong background in IT services, including a deep understanding of Automation, industry best practices domestically and globally, typical operational metrics, SLAs and SLA methodologies.

  • High proficiency using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Broad and deep understanding of business and service management technologies

General Office Environment

Work is generally performed from a home office environment, with standard office equipment available. Must be willing to adjust schedule to accommodate international co-workers, clients, and partners.
